To all the hopeless, just have to update the latest iPhone update4.1 and the app works fine. Problem was more with apple then the app. And for those who complain about losing entries,, the app lets you send it to ur email with a simple tap. Bitchiness should be redirected to the complainers.

It used to wored before but I couldnt even open it recently. So I thought I could delete and download again but NOW it says i cant download this app cuz my iPod is not phone 4.0 danm

I was in love with this app I wrote in it like everyday then I got the update and it wont even let me open it to the password lock page thing it turns white then goes back to my menu PLEASE FIX

I purchased the IPhone version of this app only to find that there was no search feature. The iPad version seems to have one. That should be a standard feature. Damn!

This app worked fine up until a month ago, now my password does not work, I cant open the app. I have lost my entries and its starting to look like a big waste of money. Stupid

It was so classy before, elegant, really. Now Im shopping for something else.

App worked great for about 2 days, then recordings disappeared, a picture disappeared, then an entry disappeared. What is the point of using it if all your work ends up lost? Do not buy unless you like wasting your money.

I used to really like this app but like a lot of the other reviewers it wont let me in it shows white screen ask for password but never recognizes the password and wont go any farther, I got to see the new look before this happened and I like the old look better please fix Ive tried deleting and redownloading makes no difference same problems please fix.

The new update made the passwords work, but Im not a fan of the new style of the diary. I liked the old one better. I think you should add more capabilities, like changing the background of the diary, for the itouch/iPhone. Being able to add pictures would be great too.

I dont like the new update. It looked alot better the way before. Now it looks cheap

Really i liked the old one!! It looked more fancy!! Plzz change it back!! Oh and wen u put more than 3 pictures u cant scroll to see the others!! Plzx put a scroll make it more classy!! Cool app but needs fixing!!

I loved this app before its recent update and change in appearance. Why did the developer take away the beauty that so many of us loved?! The previous beautiful gold-brushed-page-edges version was as much a part of my muse as music. Aesthetics are important for writers, and the developer took that away. Now, the page looks like ugly Russian proletariat blah that my muse abhors. Please, please, please bring back the beauty that encourages my muse to come out and play. Thanks. I love the handwriting font---its so elegant. And the app does exactly what it says it does. You can lock it, too. For the previous reviewer who wants spell-check: You already have it. I discovered it by going to my Settings App (that came with your bare, original iTouch), scroll to the bottom of the page where all the controls are for various apps, click the Diary app, then turn "On" the Auto-Correction. You can also change the font if the handwriting font is too feminine. I am a writer, and this app makes me happy!

Its great for writing private stuff and protecting it as well. The old look did look fancier but I can live without it.

This app is bare of features and after the last update, it just got worse. Besides why buy such a terrible app to record your memories when you can get the far superior Memento at the same price?

Ok, i tried to put pics on in and also tried to change my password but it wouldnt let me!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH

When I first got this app I absolutely LOVED IT! All the different fonts and features and I liked the layout with the photos. Then came the new update that prompted everyone to change their password. I did and now I cant get back in. I tried emailing the maker and he said he wont do a reset. I asked about an option where if you forgot it, it could be emailed to you. He said that was stupid since you can access email on your iPhone (sorry, it was an idea). He said the only way was to give him my ID for my phone and hed remotely unlock it. Well I didnt, because if he could do that- what else would/could he do!? Anyways it was my favorite until I could no longer get in. My friends ask me about this app all the time and all I say is "why pay for it when you can get others for free, cuz once your locked out- your done"

I loved this app but cant even get in any more such a waist of money!!!!

This use to be a great app. Now every time some one sends me a text, I loose everything Ive been typing. I recorded a voice memo to one of my entries, and now its gone? Where did it go? My private thoughts are out there somewhere, but where? Its time to look for something better. Dont by this until there is an update to fix these issues.

I dont see why everyone is complaining... It works fine for me. It needs two things for me though: A calender view, and FIX THE ISSUE WITH THE PICS!!! I can only see 3 when I try to upload them to a entry. But if I add 4, then delete one, the fouth one shows up. Please please please fix this!!! Make the pics scroll-able or something. Should be an easy fux. Please and thank you!
